What if my horse has never worn a harness before?
Introducing your horse to a harness for the first time can be a gradual process. Start by allowing your horse to sniff and inspect the harness. Gradually drape the harness over your horse's back without fastening it. Once your horse is comfortable, secure the harness loosely and allow them to wear it for short periods, gradually increasing the time. Always ensure the harness is properly fitted and comfortable to prevent any stress or discomfort.
Will the harness interfere with my horse's movement or activities?
The HorseSafe harness is designed to be lightweight and non-restrictive. It should not interfere with your horse's natural movement or activities. Always ensure the harness is properly fitted and not too tight to avoid discomfort.
Can multiple horses be monitored simultaneously using HorseSafe?
Yes, the HorseSafe app allows for the monitoring of multiple horses simultaneously. Each horse’s data will be tracked separately, providing you with individual alerts and updates for each monitored horse.

Other Help
How often should I check my horse’s harness?
Horses can sometimes shift or twist the harness through natural movement. While this won’t harm them in the short term, it’s best to check the harness every day, even from a distance, to ensure it is positioned correctly and not hanging off or twisted. The harness is designed with breakaway material to prevent injury, but regular checks will help keep your horse comfortable and ensure accurate monitoring.
How do I find the HorseSafe harness when my horse has dropped it?
The HorseSafe harness should have the device attached which has GPS tracking. If the harness is dropped, you can use the HorseSafe app to pinpoint its location. Simply open the app and follow the map to retrieve the harness. Additionally, ensure the harness is secured properly to minimise the risk of it being dropped.
What should I do if the harness seems uncomfortable for my horse?
If your horse appears uncomfortable, check the fit of the harness. Ensure it’s not too tight or too loose, and that it’s not causing any irritation or rubbing.
