Which is the right option for me?

  • Option 1: Own The Hardware

    • Best value
    • Prefer ownership from day one
    • The monthly subscription is open term and free cancellation is available anytime.

  • Option 2: All-Inclusive Subscription

    • No upfront investment
    • After 18 months, the hardware is yours to keep and your monthly subscriptions drops to the lower monthly rate of option 1.
    • Minimum term is 3 months. Cancellation is free after, however, you will need to return the hardware if you have not met your 18 months term.

Multiple Horse Discount

If you're monitoring more than one horse, we offer automatic discounts on the monthly subscription for each additional horse. The more horses you add, the more you save.

  1. In the Own the Hardware plan, only the first horse requires the full $495 upfront cost (includes Gateway at $300, and Device at $195). Each additional horse is just $195 upfront.
  2. In the All-Inclusive Subscription, there is no upfront cost regardless of how many horses you have.

Common Pricing FAQs

What is the difference between option 1 & 2?

We offer two plans:

Option 1 - Own the Hardware: You pay upfront for the device, gateway, and initial harness then a lower monthly subscription for service.

Option 2 - All-Inclusive Subscription: You pay monthly only, with the device, gateway, service, and an initial harness included. After 18 months, the hardware is yours and your monthly fee drops.

Both options result in you owning the device & gateway. Option 1 requires upfront payment, Option 2 lets you spread the cost monthly.

What is included in the monthly service subscription?

Your service subscription covers:

  • Access to the HorseSafe app
  • Real-time monitoring and alerts
  • Continuous software updates
  • Cloud data storage and reporting
  • Customer support

What happens after 18 months on the All-Inclusive plan?

After 18 months, you own the device and gateway, just like the upfront plan. Your monthly fee automatically drops to the same rate as the “Own the Hardware” plan.

Can I switch between plans later?

Yes for customers who are currently on the All-Inclusive subscription. If your needs change, contact us to discuss.

Do I need a separate device for each horse?

Yes, each horse requires its own HorseSafe device to track individual activity and wellbeing. All devices can be monitored through a single account. You should only need one gateway for all devices.

How does the discount for multiple horses work?

We offer 10% off the monthly service fee for each additional horse, based on a cascading model:
1st horse: full price
2nd horse: 10% off
3rd horse: 10% off the 2nd’s price

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Both plans are flexible with no fixed-term contracts. Option 2 does have an initial minimum 3-month commitment, after which you can cancel anytime with no penalties.

How does installation work?

Your device and gateway will be shipped to you, alongside an installation guide with instructions on how everything needs to be set up.
