Looney's Early Morning Foaling
One of the most valuable use cases for a horse monitor is during foaling season, where timing is everything.
At 3am, Looney’s beautiful warmblood colt was ready to arrive—while the owner was asleep. Thanks to HorseSafe’s alerts, they were notified just in time, allowing for the foal to arrive safely!
A Small Alert, A Big Difference
Varina's owner received an alert the yearling filly had a sudden spike in activity—she running around her paddock. It prompted a quick check and the cause was a botfly bothering her. Because of the early alert, she could get a spray before there was stress or injury.
Great example of how continuous monitoring can detect subtle behavioural changes that may otherwise go unnoticed in a paddock environment.

Temperature Monitoring: Coming Soon
We’re taking another big step forward in equine welfare and horse monitoring tech. We’re now working on integrating temperature monitoring into HorseSafe This means alongside activity, movement, eating, and behaviour—you’ll soon be able to see temperature data in one place.
We’re currently exploring integrations (including some very cool tech in this space), and we’ll keep you updated as things progress.
